CBSE to surprise visit the schools

CBSE to surprise visit the schools

The schools of the north-east region which are affiliated with the Central board of secondary Examination CBSE are going to be visited surprisingly by the board so that those schools which are not following the norms and the rules of the CBSE can be identified and a proper corrective action can be taken against them.

The reason why board has to conduct the surprise visit is to stop the appearance of the students which are not authorized to sit in the examination of the class X and XII. The board will conduct the inspection session before the exams start in 2014.

The names of the schools along with their principals have been identified which will be visited and the number counts to 250. It will identify the errant schools which are suspected to have the unauthorized students allowed to sit in the examination.

K K Choudhry who is the regional officer of CBSE in the Guwahati region has said that the crackdown will help us identify the errant schools and to do a crackdown against them as it has been reported that the administration of some of the schools is involved in providing the students an opportunity to appear in the exams while they have not attended any class or are enrolled in the schools.

He added that this is against the norms and the rules which are set by CBSE and the schools which are violating them will be punished accordingly. Helping someone who has not been enrolled in the school just to get some money is what has made this education system notorious.

How Indian Education System is not lifting its Economy

The world’s second largest population has been producing many brilliant minds over the ages but the problem is that they leave the country and serve west. Well that has its own benefits that more money comes to the nation and they make name of the country in the outside world but again their motherland needs them.

There are different opinions about the NRIs being out of the nation. They say that they have to do it due to the highly paying jobs, better career opportunities and growth which Indian economy cannot provide them but deep down they really want to get back to India to serve their nation. Those who have not been abroad ask that why those professional left India in the first place if they want to serve the nation.

Those who want to go abroad to study have to pay a lot of money as schooling is very expensive in the West but there arises a question that why a person will leave the country to study abroad if the education system of the country is meeting the quality education requirements. There must be flaws in the education system which makes people leave the nation.

The very basic difference in the education system between the West and India is that the West focuses on the Skill oriented education whereas the nation stands at the knowledge oriented education. There are many different opportunities in the West in which the students can take part and get to know that they have interest in this particular side and can pursue that carrier.

The other key element of the education system of the West is that they preach the Think Out of the Box whereas India there is a competition in almost every field and all a student has to do is to take the marks more than 90 percent and even then the admissions in the IITs and NITs is at risk.

The education policy that is being practiced in India has its advantages as well and one of them is that they focus on Science and Mathematics which are the key elements in the world and the future to come but again the marks getting strategy is not working and the results are not what we want to see.

It is time for India to rethink the policy of the nation related to the education and to make major reforms in the field so that there are lesser number of NRIs and a prominent economic growth.

CBSE creates Foreign Schools Cell

The Central Board of Secondary Education in undoubtedly is one of the most popular educational boards in the world and now its domain has gone international. It has not been only working in India rather it has schools affiliated with the board in more than 25 other countries which surely is the element of great success of the board.

To maintain and manage the foreign schools effectively, the board has now developed the Foreign School Cell FSC which will be based out of Delhi and will look after the foreign schools only. There will be two superintendent rank officials but they'll have their task cut out as 60,300 students have registered abroad with CBSE from different grades.

Sanjay Sachdeva who is the currently a part of CBSE-I unit has now been appointed as the single point contact and nodal officer for foreign schools. He will coordinating with the schools and will work on resolving the complaints. Issues relating to affiliation, academics, examinations, publications, coordination etc will be handled by the nodal officer Sachdeva.

The board has made this appointment with very care as the CBSE-i unit worked for those students who wanted to pursue the higher education from abroad after their regular studies. Thought the CBSE-I unit was not a big hit and this is where the board thought that Sachdeva will be helpful for the FSC. The new cell will work independently only for the sake of the foreign schools which are affiliated with the CBSE.
